01.Bio

About me
I'm a UX designer, who is a big film & games enthusiast.
In my previous role, I’ve had the pleasure to work as a designer developing merchandise for the games and movie industry for over 11 years.
Throughout the years I became increasingly interested in the users’ reactions playing the games I was designing merchandise for, which led me to fall in love with UX as a discipline.
My newfound passion and enthusiasm led me to a UX design immersive course at GA, where I developed empathy for the end-user rather than just having a pretty product - there is a method to all findings, not just assumptions.
The perpetual goal as a UX designer is for me to establish empathy with the end-user, to get out of the seller or clients mindset and into the users. By doing this, I can find a way to create a seamless experience, as well as meet the users needs as a service.

The harder you work on understanding your user, the more valuable & seamless the experience will be for them.
'My aim is to design a meaningful product or service. Leaving the user happy, engaged and hopefully with some insights.'
Why I think user testing is so important.
'Until you get out and test, you have no idea how good your idea is'.
My favourite UX processes

Why? - Your research comes to life in the wireframing details.
Long interviews
Why? - You get to draw questions through subtle prompts receiving more detailed answers to questions over a mailer survey.
Design Studios
Why? - creative and engaging. Expressing ideas freely & everyone can do it!
User testing
Why? - Your idea is given real user feedback. You learn about user behaviour.
